It could be a software issue, however. In our experience, most mouse left-click or right-click issues point to hardware failure. If you have a wireless mouse, either plug its RF dongle into another computer or pair it via Bluetooth with another computer.
If the problem is the same when the mouse is plugged into another computer, you know you have a hardware problem. You can also try connecting another mouse to your current PC. Does it have the same problem? Keep in mind that some problems can be spotty or intermittent, especially if the hardware is just starting to fail.
The mouse button may work great much of the time and only fail sometimes. All mouse buttons will eventually fail if you use them enough. Mouse buttons are rated for a certain number of clicks. After that, the physical mechanism in the mouse button wears down, and it stops working correctly. If your mouse is still in warranty, we recommend you contact the manufacturer and take advantage of it.
The company should repair the mouse for you—or, more likely, send you a new one. If your mouse is out of warranty, well, it may be time to buy a new mouse. For example, iFixit has a general guide to repairing mouse buttons. YouTube is full of advice for individual mouse models, such as this guide to re-tensioning a spring in a Logitech Performance MX mouse.
The problem may be simpler than it seems—you may just need to open the mouse and clean out some dust getting in the way. You can fix the glitch.

Changing from one cover to another, leaving the current cover, or even shooting from cover sometimes just won't register, and others will have some weird delay. You'd expect the button press to launch an animation, which would carry on while you hold the button. Instead, pressing the button does nothing, and holding it for one second or two launches the action after the timer.
If you release the button too early, absolutely nothing happens. There is usually no action mapped to the button press, only to hold, which makes the whole thing an unnecessary kludge.During the game you will receive and find objects. After which a box will show; saying hit this button for further details about the object you just received.
The button it shows to hit on screen is round with three parallel lines on it. My Xbox One X controller does not have this button. None work. Name required. Email required; will not be published. Necessary cookies are absolutely essential for the website to function properly.

I've created this guide for myself, but I figured I'd share it with all of you. It took me a little bit to figure out where the "Keyboard Commands" were. I didn't realize that you can only access them via the "Story Menu" and not the "Main Menu" So I thought to myself that I may not be the only one puzzled.
Use it as you see fit. I printed mine out, and I took the most popular ones to tape on the side of my monitor for quick reference. If I made a typo, and incorrectly given the wrong key command, please say so in the comments section. I tried to copy them as accurately as possible from the "Story Menu" These are the default commands. I didn't add or change anything. If this guide helped you, please leave a rate-up.

Closing Remarks:.But for crafting, only perfect pelts will do. The game does a decent job of showing you how to use Eagle Eye press down both thumbsticks to see trails of animals you can follow. But when it comes time to shoot it, you need to use Dead Eye.
But for other animals, the sweet spot is quite small and hard to hit — especially when the animal is sprinting. Look at the teeny tiny spot on this fox needed to get a perfect pelt:. There are three kinds of hit: fatal, critical, and normal. Normal hits ruin the pelt. Hitting the red zones during Dead Eye should score you a fatal or critical hit. Studying is the difference between preying and praying. The observant will spot that the sniper rifle can give you perfect pelts on medium, large, and massive animals.
For small animals like snakes, only a bow with a small game arrow will get you a perfect result. From medium-sized animals and up, only a critical or fatal hit will get you the perfect pelt you need. Never use a pistol, revolver, or shotgun to hunt. Shotguns only have one niche case with massive animals in which slug ammo can still get you a perfect hide. If you really wanted to, you could set out with just a varmint rifle and a bow, since critical hits with poison arrows work on medium-sized animals and up.
The sniper rifle also works well on all medium-sized animals and up, and a bit of distance can make the job easy. The descriptions of some animals get even more specific sometimes, requesting long-scoped rifles instead of just a normal sniper. This method of hunting causes the least damage possible to the pelt.
But for an earnest attempt at hitting the bullseye, it can be enough to turn a good pelt into a perfect one. Perhaps the trinket only provides so much of a boost. See below for more details on hunting legendary animals. Small animals such as snakes, squirrels, songbirds, sparrows, chipmunks, toads, bats, rats, ravens, robins, roosters, blue jays, boobies, cardinals, carolina chickens, crows, ducks, gulls, loons, orioles, parrots, parakeets, pheasants, pigeons, quail, waxwings, woodpeckers, and bullfrogs will be killed by one hit from anything.New to Shacknews?
